Man found dead with stab wounds in chest in Dandora

A 26-year-old man was found dead after he had been stabbed in a suspected robbery in Dandora, Nairobi.
Police said the body of Joseph Mwangi was found lying in a pool of blood after the attack along Barcelona Road on Sunday morning.
The motive of the incident was yet to be known but it is suspected the victim was attacked in a robbery. The body had stab wounds in the chest.
No arrest was made immediately and the body was moved to the mortuary pending other procedures.
In Kiritiri, Embu County one Peter Nzioki died after he had been stabbed by unknown people in an attack.
Police said the incident happened in Mathigira Kenda village. The victim had a wound in the left side of the abdomen. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.
The motive of the incident was not immediately known. Murder incidents have been on the rise amid efforts to solve them. Most of the incidents are linked to robberies, land disputes and love triangles.
Police say the incidents are under probe and some of the suspects are facing charges in courts.
Up to eight murder incidents are reported daily in the worrying trend, police statistics show.
And a man died in a hotel swimming pool after he dived there in a tragic incident in Loiyangalani, Marsabit County.
The incident happened at the Oasis Lodge in the area on Saturday April 4.
Police said Alkano Abudo Kufo, 30 was in the company of a group from North Horr and had visited the facility when the incident happened.
He is said to have dived into the swimming pool and drowned therein.
His body was later retrieved and moved to the mortuary pending investigations and autopsy.
Police said they will investigate the incident as they visited the scene and questioned the management of the facility.
