Man kills neighbour’s worker in quarrel in Bondo

A quarrel over a mauled piglet in Kopolo, Bondo, Siaya County turned tragic when a man attacked and killed his neighbour.
The assailant had apparently warned the neighbour against chasing his dogs.
Police said Moses Owuor died at Uyawi Hospital after an attack in his house. Owuor was a caretaker at a home where the owner has pigs.
A pack of dogs from a neighbour at the home had last week mauled and killed one of the pigs.
This prompted Owuor to chase the dogs, which apparently did not please the neighbour, police said.
Out of rage, the assailant trailed Owuor to his house and hacked him to death. The body had deep cuts in the head and face when he was rushed to the local hospital, police said.
The assailant is yet to be arrested following the Thursday tragedy, police said.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.
In Bungoma’s Misikhu area, a body of a man was found floating on River Nzoia after suspected murder.
