Marcin Bułka is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.
Born on 4 October 1999 in Płock, Poland, he grew up primarily in the nearby small town of Wyszogród.
He has built a career that took him from local Polish youth clubs to major European sides and, more recently, the Saudi Pro League.
He represents the Poland national team and is known for his commanding presence in goal, shot-stopping ability, and distribution with his feet.
Siblings
Marcin has a half-brother named Rafał Bartosiński.
Rafał is the younger son of Bułka’s mother, Małgorzata, from a later relationship after her separation from Marcin’s father.
Rafał is also a goalkeeper and has played for the same local club, Stegny Wyszogród, where Marcin began his career.
As of 2025, Rafał was around 16 years old, serving as a backup goalkeeper in the senior team and having undergone trials at clubs such as Zagłębie Lubin.

Career
Bułka started playing football in the youth ranks of Stegny Wyszogród around the age of eight, later spending time with MDK Król Maciuś Club Płock and the Barcelona-affiliated FCB Escola Varsovia academy in Poland.
In 2016 he moved to Chelsea’s youth system in England, where he developed further but did not break into the first team.
In 2019 he joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
He made a handful of appearances for the French champions and spent time on loan at Spanish side Cartagena, French club Châteauroux, and OGC Nice.
Nice eventually made the transfer permanent in 2022.
At Nice he established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper, delivering strong performances in Ligue 1 and European competitions.
In the summer of 2025 he transferred to Saudi Pro League club Neom SC on a high-value contract.
Bułka made his senior debut for Poland in November 2023 and has since earned multiple caps, including selection for UEFA Euro 2024.
Accolades
During his time in Chelsea’s youth ranks Bułka contributed to success in the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup.
With Paris Saint-Germain he was part of the squad that won Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the Coupe de la Ligue, and the Trophée des Champions in the 2019–20 season, and he was also a Champions League finalist that year.
At Nice he reached the Coupe de France final in 2021–22.
Individually he was named Polish Newcomer (or Discovery) of the Year in 2023.
He has also recorded notable clean-sheet tallies in Ligue 1 while serving as Nice’s primary goalkeeper.
