Megan Thee Stallion Confirms Split from Klay Thompson Amid Cheating Allegations

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed the end of her relationship with NBA star Klay Thompson, citing concerns over trust and commitment.

In a statement shared through her representative, the Grammy-winning artist said she had chosen to walk away from the relationship after her core values were compromised.

“Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward,” she said. “I’m taking this time to prioritise myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

The confirmation follows a series of posts on her Instagram account in which the rapper appeared to accuse Thompson of infidelity. In one message, she suggested she had been committed to the relationship while questioning the basketball player’s willingness to remain monogamous.

The couple had publicly confirmed their relationship in 2025, after Thompson appeared in the background of one of the artist’s social media posts. They later made their red carpet debut in July 2025 at the inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City.

Their relationship had appeared stable in recent months, making the announcement of the split a surprise to fans.
