Sharon’s Mother Melida In Tears As Governor Obado Denies Charges
Sharon Otieno’s mother Melida Auma was teary as she watched the man accused of taking her daughter’s life deny the charges.
Ms Auma is said to have travelled over night to attend Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s plea hearing at the Milimani Law Courts.
The governor who has spent three nights in custody will be remanded at the Industrial Area Prison after the court adjourned his bail hearing to Tuesday.
Earlier on in the day, another one of Obado’s bodyguards, John Chacha was arrested at a hotel near the Milimani Law Courts.
The county chief has been charged with the offence of aiding and abetting the commission of Sharon’s murder.
