A woman in Meru county has been left to nurse grievous wounds after ex husband turned rogue and inflicted fractures and left her almost blind.
A close family member told Kahawa Tungu tha t Ex husband Moses Ntongai Kuria abducted the victim Jacinta Muru on January 1 at 6.00 p.m as she was heading home from the town center.The family said that the former lover locked up the mother of three for two days ruthlessly beating her.
According to the family her hand was broken and almost left her blind. The brother also said that said they rescued their sister after the got wind that her ex husband was holding her against her will.

The brother Pastor John Mugambi said that his sister was married to Moses Ntongai Kuria but had been separated for close to three years. they have three children together.
He has seen been arrested and is being held at Maua police station pending trial.
The family has said that the kids have been left helpless as they are the mercy of their 80 year old grandmother.
cases of women being injured by spouses have also become rampant. Last year a woman from Machakos had her hands cut off by her husband because he accused her of cheating on him.
