The acting managing director of Nzoia Sugar Company Michael Kulundu has died.
Mr Kulundu was on January 2, 2019 kidnapped in Bungoma at the Salmond View Restaurant.
According to his uncle, Lambert Manda, the police are yet to give information them information on what really transpired on the night of his abduction.
The family searched for him overnight, only to find him in a ditch near Gulf Petrol Station, a few metres from the restaurant at which he was taken.
According to a medical examination conducted, the deceased suffered “multiple injuries including a scar on the head, dislocated shoulder, cuts on the right hand, chest and lower limbs.”
His uncle has however insisted that the investigating officers should have tracked the phone used to call him on the material day.
“So far, there is no report released by the police on their investigations,” Mr Manda said.
