Miguna Writes New Book On Political Injustices, Shares Snippets On Social Media

Renowned lawyer and political activist Miguna Miguna has written a new book, inclined towards political injustices in the country.

Miguna shared snippets of his new book, titled The Case Against Tyrants & Renegades, on social media, announcing the book will be out be December 20, 2018.

“The Case Against Tyrants & Renegades, by Miguna Miguna, copyright 2018 (All Rights Reserved) 450 pages, hardback. Publication date: December 20, 2018. Information about Pre-Publication orders will be provided in due course,” wrote Miguna.

In August this year, Miguna announced that he will be back into the country after September 4, but he has not kept the promise.

He was unceremoniously thrown out of the country to Canada on May 29 despite a court order directing the government to release him from detention at Jomo Kenyatta airport in Nairobi.

Miguna’s troubles began when he controversially swore in Raila Odinga on January 31 after a hotly contested Presidential election which was nullified by the Supreme Court. Later, a repeat election was held in which the NASA coalition bolted out citing plot by Jubilee and IEBC to rig the polls.

Things turned from bad to worse when Uhuru and Raila reconciled in the famous handshake deal, seemingly leaving Miguna to his own. He was left with a choice to either follow the new unity pact or continue championing the Nasa dream. Miguna chose the latter, which saw him thrown out of the country twice on grounds that he was not a bona fide Kenyan citizen.
