MOI GIRLS ISINYA SECONDARY

There is commotion at Moi Girls Isinya Secondary School, Kajiado county after Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) pulled down the school fence and gate on Thursday morning.

The girls have made their way to the Deputy County Commissioner’s office where they are protesting the move.

The morning incident has angered parents who intimated to Kahawa Tungu that the fence was ‘violently pulled down.’

”KeNHA and the school management should have come to an agreement. They are both government entities,” a parent said.

The aggrieved students have blocked the Namanga Highway.

Another source privy to the details says that KeNHA had marked the fence and issued a notice prior to the morning incident.
