The Motorola Solutions today announced its return into the Kenyan market and highlighted the importance of its array of advanced communication solutions for East African companies with the launch of major road show in Kenya, which runs from 26th to 27th October 2010.
Motorola expects to deliver the first ever live demonstration of its Dimetra IP Micro system digital radio technology. The company which boats of 82 years will also see the introduction of the TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) digital radios to the East Africa market. The Digital Communications radios are customized to meet the needs of mission critical users and a wide range of vertical markets including industries such as oil & gas, transport, utilities and logistics.

The Dimetra IP Small System range offers end-to-end TETRA digital radio solutions including infrastructure, terminals, applications and services based on the TETRA standard.
Over the two day road show, Motorola will also showcase its latest wireless offerings to Kenya’s expanding marketplace. The Wireless Broadband Solutions (WiBB) portfolio offers tailored wireless products that connect people – wherever they live or work – and deliver information at high speeds in real time.
Motorola is represented by two local distributors in East Africa: New Edge Solutions Ltd and Danimex.
The Motorola team were not categorical when we will be seeing the mass consumer products in the market as the launch today were just for the enterprise solutions.
