    Murang’a Presiding Officer Arrested For Wrongfully Awarding Uhuru Kenyatta’s Votes To Kavinga Kaluyu

    A presiding officer in Murang’a was arrested for awarding votes to Kavinga Kaluyu that belonged to Uhuru Kenyatta.The Presiding officer at Kiiri Primary in Murang’a county is said to have illegally awarded Kavinga Kaluyu 440 votes that were cast for Uhuru Kenyatta

    However the accused presiding officer failed to take a plea before the senior resident magistrate court because the court does not have jurisdiction over election matters.

    ReadPresiding Officers, Other IEBC Officials Await Deployment

    The IEBC filed the case though Kandara returning officer Martin Malonza.This was the same officer who got into a scuffle with Kandara MP Alice Wahome for refusing to alter results.
