Murkomen Tells Raila To Be Content With Being An Opposition Leader
Murkomen was speaking while attending the burial of departed Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru.
“Raila Odinga should be content with being an opposition leader and should embrace it faithfully,” adding that the Country cannot be derailed backwards because of “one man’s desire for power.”
The vocal Jubilee legislator hit out at Odinga’s home coming marred which chaos and said it was a looting event endorsed by Odinga.
He reiterated that President Uhuru Kenyatta was elected on merit and by all Kenyans and that every person should accept their fate.

Senator Murkomen’s sentiments were echoed by leader of majority in parliament who said that the procession by NASA was not welcoming party but a festival that encouraged looting destruction of property and loss of lives.

Aden Duale said that the voters did not want to vote for Raila Odinga and that the people in the procession were from only one tribe.
He further asked that once President Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn, he should exercise iron fist ensure adding that nobody is above the law and that anyone who perpetrates destruction of property should be punished.
Governor Mike Sonko corrected Duale by saying Uhuru should not wait to be sworn in but to act as president as he is still in charge and should not allow blood shed while the opposition pursues its nonsense.
