NCPD Advertises CEO Position

The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) has announced a vacancy for the position of Director General/Chief Executive Officer.

In a notice issued on March 10, 2026, the council invited qualified and interested candidates to apply for the position.

Applicants who meet the requirements have been asked to submit an application letter together with a detailed curriculum vitae indicating three referees, current position or grade, and daytime telephone contacts. They must also attach copies of their academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and a copy of their National Identity Card or passport.

The application documents should be sent to the Board Chairman, National Council for Population and Development, at Chancery Building, 4th Floor, Valley Road, P.O. Box 48994–00100, Nairobi.

The council has also advised applicants to visit its official website to access the full job advertisement and detailed requirements for the position.

The position is currently held by Dr. Mohamed A. Sheikh, who serves as the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the council.
