The court has issued a warrant of arrest against NIC Bank operations manager. Paul Githinji suspected to have disappeared with Sh.16,964,710.20 million from the bank’s vault on August 23.

He has since switched off his mobile phone and cannot be traced. According to corporal Knocker Nyasinga, an officer from the Banking Fraud department Mr Githinji allegedly switched off the CCTV camera and did not report to work on August 25 hence making him a prime suspect for the crime.
