Nick has two older brothers, Jay and Mike Sirianni, both of whom are involved in coaching.

Jay previously coached at Southwestern Central High School, winning two state championships, while Mike is the head coach at Washington & Jefferson College, where he has achieved significant success.

The Sirianni family has a strong football background, with their father, Fran, also being a long-time high school coach.

    Career

Sirianni began his coaching journey at his alma mater, the University of Mount Union, where he served as a graduate assistant.

During this time, he was part of a program that won multiple NCAA Division III championships, which laid the foundation for his coaching philosophy and approach to player development.

In 2009, Sirianni entered the NFL as a quality control coach for the Kansas City Chiefs.

His role involved analyzing game film and assisting with offensive strategies, which provided him valuable experience in the professional ranks.

In 2010, he was promoted to wide receivers coach, where he worked with talented players like Dwayne Bowe.

His coaching contributed to their development and the overall success of the Chiefs’ offense during his tenure.

Sirianni then moved to the San Diego Chargers in 2013, continuing his role as a wide receivers coach.

He worked with stars such as Keenan Allen and Malcolm Floyd, emphasizing route running and ball security.

His efforts were instrumental in helping the Chargers maintain a high-powered offense during this period.

Under his guidance, the Colts’ offense became more dynamic and efficient.

One of his notable achievements was playing a crucial role in Andrew Luck’s return from injury, helping him achieve a career-high in passing yards and earning the Comeback Player of the Year award.

The Colts made the playoffs in 2018, showcasing a balanced offensive attack that included a strong running game.

In January 2021, Sirianni was named head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, marking a new era for the team.

His hiring focused on building a strong culture and fostering player development.

In his first year as head coach, Sirianni led the Eagles to a playoff berth with a record of 9-8.

His innovative offensive schemes and ability to adapt mid-season were key factors in this success.

The following season proved to be even more remarkable.

The Eagles finished with a 14-3 record, and Sirianni’s leadership was instrumental in developing quarterback Jalen Hurts into a Pro Bowl player.

The team advanced to Super Bowl LVII, where they faced the Kansas City Chiefs but ultimately fell short in a closely contested game.

    Accolades

Sirianni has received several accolades throughout his coaching career.

Notably, he was recognized for his role as the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts when he coached Andrew Luck to the Comeback Player of the Year award in 2018.

As head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, Sirianni led the team to an NFC Championship in 2022 and achieved a remarkable 14-3 regular season record that year.

His coaching prowess has established him as one of the top young coaches in the NFL, with a winning percentage that ranks highly among his peers.

Additionally, he has fostered a successful coaching tree, contributing to the development of future head coaches in the league.
