
AFC Leopards coach Nikola Kavazovic has been linked to a move to South Africa’s Free States Stars in the Premier Soccer League.
“The Serbia-born coach has had talks with Free States Stars.
“If talk are successful, Nikola should be announced Free States Stars coach this week and should be on the bench to watch them against Pirates next week at Goble Park,” revealed Soccer Laduma’s Mazoa J. Molefe.
The former Botswana’s Township Rollers’ gaffer left the country over the weekend with Leopards’ management saying that “Nikola has asked to be away for some time to attend to family issues back in Serbia.”
On Saturday, the coach missed Ingwe’s friendly against Ulinzi Stars with reports suggesting a fallout with the club’s hierarchy.

The coach rubbished rumors linking him with a move to Leopards arch rivals Gor Mahia, saying “it couldn’t happen for a million dollars.”
“Rumors are the biggest evil of African football,” he added.
Nikola joined the den early November and was tasked with preparing the team for a new season beginning this weekend with a clear task of winning this year’s Kenyan Premier League for the first time in 21 years.
