Former police commissioner Edwin Nyaseda’s son, Wayne Nyaseda has been accused of not settling a hospital bill amounting to a whooping Sh.4 million.
The late officer’s son reportedly had his son, Thea Nyaseda admitted at the Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital on 3 June, 2016 and was discharged on 10 September 2016.
The child, a source intimated, was in a coma and was during the aforementioned period admitted in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The source further divulged that the Thea’s grandmother, Mrs Loise Nyaseda has received letters from the hospital asking them to pay the outstanding balance on behalf of her son.
The hospital, Kahawa Tungu has learnt has tried reaching out to the parties involved but their calls have gone unanswered.

The late police boss died in 2008 at the Nairobi Hospital while undergoing treatment.
Though his tenure was the shortest at the helm of the police force, he is credited with initiating the police reforms programme that saw officers’ salaries increased and better housing programmes started.
