Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo on Tuesday morning walked out of NTV’s AM Live show over an uncultured comment made by Kikuyu MP, Kimani Ichung’wa on Twitter.
The Kikuyu legislator is said to have okayed the killing of the Luo people by the police.
He said: ”This is a Luo mass action not Kenyan. Luos dying and getting injured on the streets. It is okay.”
But Kimani disowned the tweet saying that his account was hacked and has since been suspended.
Otiende still walked out of the live recording because he was uncomfortable with sharing a platform with an MP who was okay with the maiming of the Luo people.
”I cannot share a platform with Kimani Ichungwa who believes its okay to kill and maim Luos, i beg to leave.”
The police have been accused of using excessive force especially in the Nyanza regions during the anti-IEBC protests.
On Monday, a form four student was shot in the neck and the police officer responsible is said to have slit his throat, taking out the bullet.
The opposition has called off today’s protests to check up on the injured.
