Panel Invites Applications for IGRTC Members

The Selection Panel for the Recruitment of Members of the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC) has announced vacancies for eight committee members.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, April 21, the panel said successful applicants will serve a non-renewable term of six years.

Applicants must be Kenyan citizens, hold a degree from a university recognised in Kenya, have a distinguished career in their respective field, possess at least 10 years of post-qualification professional experience, and meet the integrity requirements under Chapter Six of the Constitution.

However, individuals are not eligible if they are members of a governing body of a political party, elected or nominated members of a county government, members of a commission established under the Constitution, undischarged bankrupts, persons previously removed from office for contravening the Constitution or any other law, or individuals who have not met their statutory obligations.

The panel noted that salaries and benefits for the positions will be determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).

Interested candidates can submit applications electronically via email to IGRTCpanel@headofpublicservice.go.ke, with the subject line: “Application for Member of the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee.”

Alternatively, physical applications can be addressed to the Chairperson, Selection Panel for the Recruitment of Members of IGRTC, P.O. Box 40530–00100, Nairobi, or delivered by hand at Harambee House, 5th Floor, Room 507.

The deadline for submission of applications is May 5, 2026.
