The police on Wednesday said that their investigations into IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando’s murder has hit a dead end.
Officers looking into the case have so far questioned six people they believe were connected to his death.
The police said the investigations slowed down because of the just concluded August poll but said that they were still looking for four other people that could potentially help in speeding the investigations.
According to the STANDARD, the officers are looking for a man who walked with Chris on Friday evening to a pub along Koinange street.
Msando was murdered and body found in a thicket in Kikuyu. Alongside him was a 21 year old lady, Maryanne Ngumbu who was said to have been with him on the fateful day.

They were both strangled to death with the IEBC official sustaining severe head injuries and deep incisions on his hands.
Ms Ngumbu wa laid to rest on Friday and the ICT manager on Saturday in Ugenya.
NASA’s Raila Odinga said that the late Chris’ details were used to login to IEBC portal on August 9 in an attempt to rig the elections in favour of Uhuru Kenyatta.
Odinga condoled with the deceased’s family on Tuesday ahead of his requiem mass on Thursday.
