Police Teargas Worshipers At A Kawangware Church (Photos)

Police have allegedly teargassed worshipers in Litevan SDA Church, Kawangware.

The officers apparently threw the teargas canister by hand throw the church window where the worshipers were going about their business.

The congregants quickly exited the church where children were also present. They washed their faces and termed the incident as ‘wrong.’

There has been unrest in some parts of the country by NASA supporters who were dissatisfied by Uhuru Kenyatta’s declaration as president.

Violence has been reported in parts of Kisumu, Kibera and Mathare.

The acting CS for Interior Security has however said that the country is secure and calm has returned.

He has denied excessive use of force by the police.
