President Uhuru Condoles With IEBC ICT Manager Msando, Carol’s Families

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday condoled with IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando and Carol Ngumbu’s families.

He referred to the slain commissioner as a ‘patriot’ who lived for the ‘free and fair choice of our leaders.’

The Head of State also asked Kenyans to stand as one and not turn against each other in the face of adversity.

Kenyatta was criticized by opposition leaders for being quiet on the matter. Kenyans were also concerned about his lack of compassion for the families of the deceased.

Chris and Carol went missing on Friday evening after having drinks together in town. Their bodies were found on Monday morning at the city mortuary.

Carol Ngumbu was a 21 year old student at the Kenya Medical Training Institute.
