Raila Calls for the Arrest of Sharon Otieno’s Killers

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party have condemned the killing of student Sharon Otieno whose body was found in Kodera forest.
Raila Odinga called for the arrest of the perpetrators of the brutal murder of the student who was at Rongo University. He urged the investigative bodies to thoroughly investigate the heinous crime.

While speaking at a campaign briefing for Migori Senatorial Candidate Dr. Ochillo Ayako, Odinga asked that those in attendance observe a moment of silence for the slain university student.
I would like to call upon the relevant investigative agencies to move with speed to ensure that those involved in her killing are brought to book.

Migori governor has been adversely in the events that led to the death of the pregnant 26 year old. His personal assistant is said to be the last contact person between Sharon Otieno and Nation journalist Barack Oduor.
He has since been arrested as it is believed that he baited the two and handed them over to the perpetrators. Barack Oduor managed to save himself by jumping off of the vehicle sustaining injuries.
Her mother said that the governor was known to her and that he had promised to give hr tenders in the county.
