Raila Odinga has said that he is willing to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta to bring the change that Kenya needs.
Speaking on Hot 96 on Monday, the opposition leader said that his working with Kenyatta would be good for his last tenure in office and a ‘great opportunity’ to transform the country.
”Uhuru should agree that things must change. Kenya desires change and he can help in creating that change,” the former Prime Minister said, adding that he together with the President can turn Kenya into ‘Canaan.’
Odinga who on Sunday turned 73, maintained that the fight for electoral justice was still on and that 2018 is the year of ‘transition.’
”The force for change is so powerful that it is unstoppable. I am optimistic that 2018 is the year of transition and change in our country.

“2017 was a terrible year but we must make 2018 the year of transition and that there is is hope. I can see light at the end of the tunnel,” he continued.
The opposition has asked the Jubilee government to give dialogue a chance especially on electoral reforms. But the government has insisted that time for talk is over, and politics will be discussed in 2022.
Odinga and co, have maintained that they will take oath of office on 30 January should talks not be given a chance.
