Lombardi initially aspired to become a professional volleyball player during his youth, but he shifted his focus to acting, where he found his true calling.

He is married to Betty Baumgarten, a makeup artist, and the couple has a son named Rafael, born in 2008.

Career

Throughout the 2010s, Lombardi continued to star in hit telenovelas such as “Passione,” “Salve Jorge,” “Verdades Secretas,” and “A Força do Querer,” often playing leading men with moral complexities.

In addition to television, he has appeared in films like “Amor em Sampa” (2016), “El ojo y el cuchillo” (2019), and “Duetto” (2022), as well as providing voice work for Hollywood productions, including Prince Naveen in “The Princess and the Frog” (2009) and additional voices in “Toy Story 3” (2010) and “Tangled” (2010).

Lombardi also lent his voice to a character in “Transformers: The Last Knight” (2017), expanding his reach into global cinema.

Accolades

In 2009, Lombardi won the Prêmio Arte Qualidade Brasil for Best Actor for his role in “Caminho das Índias,” along with the Prêmio Extra de Televisão and Melhores do Ano awards in the same category.

He earned further recognition in 2011 with a nomination for the Extra Award for Best Actor in “The Illusionist.”

His performance in “Verdades Secretas” (2015) brought him the Extra Award for Best Actor and a nomination for Melhores do Ano.

Lombardi has also been nominated for the Troféu Imprensa multiple times, including in 2010 and 2016, underscoring his consistent excellence in the industry.
