Police Arrest Disputed Ruaraka Land Owner At Kileleshwa Home

Francis Mburu, the “rich man” who allegedly owns the contentious Ruaraka Land where Ruaraka High School and Drive Inn Primary School sit has been arrested by DCI officers.

He was arrested at Kileleshwa house Wednesday morning for the second time and is being held at the Nairobi Area Police Station.

Mburu is at the centre of the Sh3.2 billion Ruaraka land probe has been arrested.

On Thursday, Mburu was arrested together with his sons by EACC officers. He told reporters that he was being targeted unfairly and threatened to sue the government.

“This one I’m going to win. There is no scam, believe me am coming out with Sh25 billion. I will sue Kenyan government for over $200m for spoiling my name,” he told Citizen TV.

While appearing before the Senate Public Accounts and Investments committee, Education CS Amina Mohammed said that the Sh3.2 billion land payment was made in haste by her predecessor CS Fred Matiang’i.
