    Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja Friday announced changes among senior officials in his office.

    The changes are aimed at enhancing operations.

    In the changes, Michael Tony Kirpani was reassigned as the Chief Officer for Social Services in Nairobi City County, replacing Boniface Nyamu.

    Eva Wangechi Wairiuko was named the acting chief officer security compliance.

    The latest adjustments were made in accordance with Section 45(5) of the County Government Act, 2012.

    Further deployments were made within the Security and Compliance sub-sector under Section 72(2) of the same Act.

    Benjamin Omondi Onudi was appointed as the Director of Security and Enforcement while William Kangogo Kangu’ony will serve as the Acting Deputy Director of Enforcement.

    Joseph Kipsan Kosei was deployed as the Deputy Director for Community Policing while Tom Seme Kath was assigned as the Assistant Director for Administration.

    Wilson Kiptanui Too was appointed as the Acting Assistant Director for Operations while Bildad Pgweno Tindi was appointed as the Nairobi CBD Commander, while George Ken Ara Oari will take charge as the Commander of the Debt Collection Unit (DCU).

    Caroline Wairimu Njuguna was named the Assistant Director for Investigation and Information Analysis.

    The changes take effect immediately, as per the directive issued by Acting County Secretary Godfrey Akumali.
