Scott Eastwood, born Scott Clinton Reeves on March 21, 1986, in Monterey, California, is an American actor, model, and producer.

The son of legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood and flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, Scott grew up navigating the complexities of a famous lineage while forging his own path in Hollywood.

Raised primarily in Hawaii with his mother and sister Kathryn, he spent limited time with his father during childhood but grew closer to him during his high school years in California.

Scott’s striking resemblance to a young Clint Eastwood, coupled with his determination to avoid nepotism, led him to initially use his mother’s surname, Reeves, early in his career.

    Siblings

Scott is one of eight children fathered by Clint Eastwood with six different women, creating a sprawling, blended family of seven siblings, namely Laurie, Kimber, Kyle, Alison, Kathryn, Francesca, and Morgan.

Laurie Murray, born in 1954, is the eldest sibling and Clint’s first daughter, whose existence was unknown to him until she reconnected with him in her thirties.

Adopted at birth, Laurie bonded with her father over shared interests like golf and the outdoors, later appearing alongside him at the 2004 Oscars and the 2018 premiere of The Mule.

Kimber Lynn Eastwood, born in 1964 to Clint and actress Roxanne Tunis, has pursued acting and producing, with roles in films like Absolute Power and work as a makeup artist on The Mule.

Kyle Eastwood, born in 1968 to Clint and his first wife, Maggie Johnson, is a accomplished jazz bassist and composer, contributing scores to his father’s films like Mystic River while also acting in projects like The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Alison Eastwood, born in 1972, also to Maggie Johnson, is an actress, director, and animal advocate, known for roles in Bronco Billy and her directorial work on Rails & Ties, as well as founding the Eastwood Ranch Foundation for animal welfare.

Kathryn Eastwood, born in 1988, is Scott’s only full sibling, sharing the same mother, Jacelyn Reeves.

A private figure, Kathryn has taken on minor acting roles, including a part in Clint’s Jersey Boys, and was named Miss Golden Globe in 2005.

Francesca Eastwood, born in 1993 to Clint and actress Frances Fisher, is an actress and model, appearing in films like Old and Jersey Boys, and is notably close to Scott, who celebrated the birth of her son Titan in 2018.

Morgan Eastwood, born in 1996 to Clint and his second wife, Dina Eastwood, is the youngest sibling.

While she appeared in minor roles in Clint’s films like Million Dollar Baby, Morgan has shifted focus to screenwriting, holding a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and pursuing an M.F.A. at The New School.

She announced her engagement to Tanner Koopmans in 2023 and is expecting a child.

    Career

Eastwood’s acting career began under his mother’s surname to distance himself from his father’s fame, a choice that led to rejections, including for Clint’s American Sniper.

His debut came in 2006 with a small role in Clint’s Flags of Our Fathers, followed by appearances in Gran Torino (2008) and Invictus (2009), where he played a rugby player.

Embracing his Eastwood name, Scott’s career gained momentum with leading roles in smaller films like Enter Nowhere (2011) and supporting parts in mainstream projects like Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013) and Fury (2014).

His breakout came in 2015 with The Longest Ride, a Nicholas Sparks adaptation where he starred opposite Britt Robertson, showcasing his romantic lead potential.

That same year, he appeared in Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” music video, amplifying his heartthrob status.

Scott’s versatility shone in subsequent roles, from the action-packed Suicide Squad (2016) as Lt. GQ Edwards to the Fast and Furious franchise’s The Fate of the Furious (2017).

He tackled science fiction in Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) and war drama in The Outpost (2020), earning praise for his intensity.

In 2021, he joined Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of Man, and in 2023, he appeared in Fast X, cementing his action-star credentials.

Beyond acting, Scott co-founded Made Here, a clothing line celebrating American manufacturing, reflecting his belief in hard work and national pride.
