SHA announces 54 job vacancies; here’s how to apply

The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced 54 job vacancies as part of its latest recruitment drive, while also cancelling an earlier advertisement for Office Administrator II positions issued in November 2025.

In a notice dated Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the SHA Board invited applications from qualified professionals for 47 positions of Administration Officer I and seven positions of Senior Assistant Office Administrator.

The Authority said it is seeking “visionary, result-driven and experienced professionals” to fill the roles.

Interested applicants can access full details of the advertisement, including job descriptions and requirements, on the SHA recruitment portal at https://recruitment.sha.go.ke/.

Applicants are required to submit a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a cover letter outlining their suitability for the role, and contacts of at least three professional referees.

Applications should be addressed to the Chairperson, Social Health Authority, P.O. Box 30443–00100, Ragati Road, Nairobi. They may be submitted online or delivered physically to the SHA headquarters, 10th floor, clearly indicating the position applied for on the envelope.

The deadline for applications is June 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Successful candidates will be appointed on permanent and pensionable terms in accordance with the Authority’s policies, with remuneration guided by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).

Meanwhile, SHA confirmed the cancellation of an earlier recruitment exercise for 54 Office Administrator II positions that had been advertised on November 18, 2025.
