The Secretary General of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Edwin Sifuna has refuted claims that the party has registered a pay bill number to help the residents in Baringo who are facing drought.

According to the Twitter user the paybill number was launched by the Deputy party leader and Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.

The twitter user asked the ODM party as the opposition to keep the government accountable instead.

Sifuna termed this post as fake news stating that the party or the coalition had not launched any paybill number for the people of Baringo. He said that the public should not be duped as that was not the party’s initiative.

Except we haven't. This is FAKE NEWS. https://t.co/1qTZeEgANW
