Taka Taka Singer Alvindo Releases Video Despite KFCB Ban

Rapper Alvindo has proceeded to release the video to his first single for his song Taka taka  days after KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua banned the song terming it as obscene.

KFCB  banned the famous Kenyan break up song sang by up coming artist Alvindo.

CEO Ezekiel Mutua said that he banned the song due to its explicit lyrics saying that it promotes violence against women by equating women to trash.

KFCB said that the song was not submitted to the board before it was released

“The board notes with great concern that the song was not submitted for examination and clarification, as such, it contravenes section 12 (2) of the Films and Stage Plays Act, “read part of the board’s press release.

Mutua has given a directive prohibiting broadcast of the song by DJ and media houses within the Republic of Kenya.

Various comedians were featured in the video including Eddie Butita , Shaniqwa and DJ shiti.
