Governor Sonko Breathes Fire After County Cash Officers Failed To Bank Revenue On Time
The newly sworn in county boss said that revenue collected on Tuesday, amounting to 7 million was yet to be banked. He said the cash was still being held by cashiers at the city hall.
”It is unacceptable that yesterday’s collections of Ksh. 7 Million were still with cashiers by 11 am yet the bank is 50 metres away,” he said.

The governor who hit the ground running instructed that the cash offices be installed with surveillance cameras that will be monitored by his office, the NSIS and the CID.
He on Tuesday suspended Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company board over a week long strike that saw city residents experience a shortage of water.
