Standard Media Group Appoints a Replacement for Sacked CEO, Sam Shollei

The Standard Group Board has announced a replacement of Sam Shollei who was sacked last evening.

The board has announced Orlando Lyomu as the acting CEO until a replacement is found. Orlando Lyomu was serving as the Group Finance Director & Chief Operating Officer, a position he held since 2012.

Shollei was sacked because of his deep involvement in the politics of the day.

His replacement takes effect immediately.
