State Agencies Advertise Senior Jobs Across Key Institutions

Several state agencies have announced senior job vacancies, inviting qualified candidates to apply for leadership and management positions.
The Privatization Authority has advertised the position of Managing Director. In a notice dated March 31, 2026, the Authority said the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, provide strategic leadership, and spearhead the implementation of the national privatisation programme.
The Managing Director will also serve as the Accounting Officer and will be responsible for policy development, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring sound financial management. Applicants are required to hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related field, with at least 10 years’ experience, including five years in senior management. They must also meet Chapter Six requirements of the Constitution.
Applications can be submitted physically to the Authority’s offices or via email to recruitment@privatization.go.ke. The position is for a three-year term, renewable once based on performance.
The Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) has also announced vacancies for Deputy Director and Assistant Director in Supply Chain Management. The Authority said successful candidates will be offered permanent and pensionable terms, with details available on its website and recruitment portal.
At the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA), vacancies have been announced for Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs on a contract basis, alongside other senior roles including Deputy Director (Records Management) and Assistant Directors in Finance and Accounts. Interested applicants are advised to visit the KEMSA website for full details and application procedures.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has advertised the position of Director for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Mission for a five-year term.
Meanwhile, the Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced vacancies for Assistant Director, Corporate Communication, and Principal Funds Management Officer.
SHA said applicants must submit a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a cover letter, and contacts of at least three referees. Applications can be submitted online or delivered physically to its offices in Nairobi.
All applications for the advertised positions must be received by April 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
