    State House Denies Issuing ‘Disobedience Of Court Order’ Letter, Calls DCI To Investigate

    State House has called in the office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to investigate a letter bearing the signature The Head of Public Service, Joseph Kinyua which was used to spread fake news.

    The letter which has done rounds on social media pages  claimed that the government intended to disobey the courts suspension of the directive for the heads of procurement in all ministries to step down.

    The letter purportedly reaffirmed the directive to punish all heads of procurement and accountants who had not complied to the directive by the president which would amount to disobedience of the court order given by the Employment and Labour relations court  which temporarily suspended the directive after a petition by activist Okiya Omtatah.
