University of Nairobi students are currently on State house road demonstrating over the delayed disbursement of funds given by the Higher education loans board (HELB).
The student have closed Statehouse road.
The police officers have been deployed to ensure that the students do not destroy property or interrupt the operations of the road.

The last time there was a clash between students and the police led to the closure of the university as police were accused of using maximum force on the students and even allegedly attacked the students at their halls of residence.
