Supreme Court judge Ibrahim suffering from alcohol addiction

Supreme Court judge Mohammed Ibrahim who was admitted in the course of supreme court petition is suffering from drug related complications.

Ibrahim is said to be a heavy drunkard and has battled the addiction for some time now.

As the Court readies to deliver a verdict, the indisposed Ibrahim will not be sitting, meaning he is not part of the judges who wrote the all important judgement.

Six judges are set to deliver the judgement. They include Chief Justice David Maraga, Deputy Chief Justice Philemona Mwilu, Justice (prof) JB Ojwang’, Justice Dr. Smokin Wanjala, Justice Njoki Ndung’u and Justice Isaac Lenaola.
