Kiambu Principal Magistrate Justus Kituku has released the third suspect Brian Kassaine who was arrested in the Monica Kimani murder probe.

He will however be required to report at the Directorate of Criminal investigation offices every Thursday for the next two months to aid in investigations.

He also be required to deposit his passport at the DCI headquarters in the next 48 hours.

Brian Kassaine who is a neighbor and a close friend to journalist Jacque Maribe and fiance Jowie is said to have agreed to be a state witness against the two. His lawyers had argued that their client should be released unconditionally as none of the evidence linked him to the murder.
