    Though only a handful leaders came comped to the over 70 that State House Spokesperson Manoa Esipisu had said, the African leaders who came had messages of hope for Kenyans.

    Zambia’s President Edgar Lungu said other African Counties were worried about Kenya following the political unrest that followed the August 8 elections

    “We were worried as friends that process took too long, congratulations and get back to work”, he said.

    Gabon’s President said Ali Bongo Ondimba said, “I am pleased and proud to be an African today. Kenya has made us very proud, I bring a message of love and solidarity and most of all congratulations,” he said.

    Rwanda’s Paul Kagame congratulated Kenyans for a “well run elections,” while his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni urged Kenyans to consider peace, prosperity, development above Politics.
