Three people were on Wednesday caught with election materials including ballot papers in Athi River Town.
Cecilia Kimeu, Boniface Nzioka and Stephen Omondi were in possession of the ballot papers.
They appeared in court on Thursday but did not take a plea as the Senior Resident Magistrate, Kipkurui Kipkelion was absent.

The IEBC is set to present to court the election material used in the Machakos governor election on Friday.
The case was filed by Wiper’s Wavinya Ndeti who cited irregularities.
