Tom Mboya University Announces Job Vacancies

Tom Mboya University has opened applications for multiple academic and administrative positions.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the university said it is seeking to recruit professors, associate professors, senior lecturers, and lecturers.

The institution also advertised administrative roles, including senior systems administrator, legal officer, assistant internal auditor, two assistant accountants, assistant procurement officer, clerk of works, security officer, and two technologists.

Applicants are required to submit a detailed and up-to-date curriculum vitae, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, National Identity Card or Passport, testimonials, and other relevant supporting documents.

Qualified candidates must submit three hard copies of their applications, clearly indicating the reference number of the position applied for, to:

In addition, applicants must email scanned, colored copies of the documents compiled into a single PDF to recruitment@tmu.ac.ke. All applications must be received by Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM (1700hrs).

The university also requires recommendations from at least three referees, to be sent separately in sealed envelopes or via email by the application deadline.

Appointments will be made on either permanent and pensionable terms or contract terms, in line with government regulations, university statutes, and the university’s human resource policies.
