Toni Braxton Cuts Minneapolis Show Short Due to Personal Emergency

Award-winning singer Toni Braxton was forced to end her performance early during a concert in Minneapolis after an unexpected personal emergency.
The 58-year-old star was performing at the Target Center on Sunday, March 22, as part of the New Edition Way Tour, which also features New Edition and Boyz II Men.
However, Braxton did not complete her scheduled set, prompting concern among fans in attendance.
Taking to social media the following day, the Grammy-winning artist apologised for the disruption.
“My loves, I am so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show last night. I had an unexpected personal emergency and had no choice but to step away,” she wrote.
“You deserved my everything and I hate that I couldn’t give it to you. I feel your love from here. Thank you for understanding,” she added.
The tour typically features Braxton performing a mini-set of about nine songs, though it remains unclear which parts of her performance were affected during the Minneapolis show.
While the singer did not disclose details of the emergency, she has previously spoken about the challenges of touring while managing systemic lupus erythematosus. She also underwent emergency heart surgery in 2022.
