Prominent Nairobi-based law firm TripleOKLaw LLP has strongly denied allegations linking it to official government business purportedly conducted by the Attorney General, Dorcas Oduor, from its offices.

In a sharply worded statement issued on Monday, the firm dismissed a letter circulating on social media as false, defamatory, and malicious.

The letter, which claims to be authored by an unnamed associate of the firm, alleges that the Attorney General operates out of TripleOKLaw’s premises and that classified “SECRET” government documents are stored and handled at the firm.

“These allegations are entirely false, baseless, and defamatory,” said the firm in its statement, adding that it neither hosts nor transacts any government business and has no involvement with state secrets.

TripleOKLaw emphasized that it operates under strict professional standards and confidentiality rules and reiterated that the Attorney General does not maintain any private practice or office within the firm.

The firm characterized the document as part of a “coordinated smear campaign” intended to damage the reputations of both the Attorney General and the law firm.

“We urge the public, our clients, and all stakeholders to treat this document as a fabrication,” the firm added.

The matter has been formally reported to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Office of the Attorney General, with TripleOKLaw calling for investigations to establish the source of the document and take legal action against its authors and disseminators.

The Attorney General’s office has not issued an official response as of the time of publication.
Officials close to Oduor have also denied the claims and termed them false.

TripleOKLaw LLP, one of Kenya’s leading full-service commercial law firms, concluded its statement by reaffirming its commitment to professionalism, integrity, and public
