TSC readvertises more than 1,600 jobs; here’s how to apply

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has readvertised more than 1,600 teaching and administrative positions across the country.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the commission announced vacancies for 132 Deputy Principal III (Regular) positions, 29 Senior Master II positions and 1,470 Deputy Headteacher II (Regular) positions.

The vacancies are open to candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications and requirements for the respective positions.

Interested candidates have been directed to submit their applications online through the TSC recruitment portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke.

The commission said applications must be received by midnight on Monday, September 14, 2026.

TSC emphasised that only applications submitted through the online portal will be considered. Manual applications will not be accepted.

“Candidates who applied for these posts under the earlier advertisement and successfully submitted their applications need not reapply,” TSC said.

The commission said successful candidates will be posted to institutions where vacancies exist.
