Two Arrested In Limuru With 9 Sacks Of Bhang

Detectives have arrested two men in Limuru and recovered nine sacks of bhang, each weighing 90 kilograms, during a multi-agency operation.
The suspects, identified as 37-year-old Minja Jimmy and Bernard Nyabero Nyakangi, were intercepted along the Maai Mahiu–Nairobi road.
The two were driving a white Toyota Noah when they were stopped by officers from the Transnational Organized Crime and Anti-Narcotics units, supported by police from the Mutarakwa Police Post.
“Upon search, the vehicle was found to have been stashed with the sacks that were neatly covered with a black polythene paper,” DCI said in a statement.
The vehicle and the seized drugs were taken to Mutarakwa Police Post. The suspects were later transferred to DCI headquarters for further interrogation and will be arraigned in court.
