Two people were separately electrocuted in tragedies reported to police in Juja, Kiambu County and Embu.
In the first incident, which was reported on April 9, one Paul Njuguna, 39 was electrocuted as he repaired a water tank at a residential house in Theta, Juja, Kiambu County.
The deceased was in the company of a plumber and were repairing the water tank when he touched a live wire.
The colleague told police he was in the tank cage and later found the deceased on the ground holding the cable wire and was unresponsive.
He was rushed to Chaka Medical Services Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
In Karaba area, Mbeere, Embu, one Erick Maina, 38 was found dead in Riakanau village after suspected electrocution.
Police visited the scene and established that a single naked barbed wire around the farm was connected to live electric wire from a 600W solar converter.
The deceased was alleged to have stumbled on the live wire and was electrocuted.
The body was moved to Embu County and Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Two suspects were arrested over the incident, police said.
In Karumandi, Kirinyaga County, the body of Francis Munene Muchiri, 44 was found on the roadside after suspected murder.
Police said the body was found on the Karuti-Mt. Kenya Forest road.
The body had visible injuries on the face and thick whitish fluid oozing from the nose, police and witnesses said.
Meanwhile, two people died by suicide in separate incidents.
The first incident was reported in Korayo village in Homabay where one Ezra Ochieng, 35 was found dead in his house.
He is believed to have swallowed poison.
Police said blood was oozing from his mouth and nose when they arrived at the scene to pick up the body for the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.
In Silibwet area, Bomet County, one Jackline Maritim, 34 was found dead after a suicide incident.
She died by hanging herself in their house.
A suicide note left behind was recovered at the scene, police said. The body was moved to Longisa Referral Hospital mortuary, awaiting postmortem.
