Inter clan banditry at the Kisumu and Kericho border has left two people dead.

The Kisumu governor and his Kericho counter part had immediately  after the election period come together to foster unity as the two communities living the two counties had started showing signs of intolerance.

Banditry has been rampant especially among pastrolists communities and communities living on borders. Historically banditry was a cultural practice that was sanctioned by the elders of the area.
