Uber has said that it will not tolerate any acts of violence and intimidation among drivers and partners even as they exercise their rights.
Members of the public have been asked to report any complaints.
In a statement they said: ”While we respect every partners right to express their opinions, acts of violence or intimidation that threaten the trust and safety of the Uber community. Such acts will not be tolerated and Uber will permanently deactivate the account of any driver-partner who is found be involved.”
The online taxi drivers under the Digital Taxi association of Kenya have however said that the go slow will go on until their demands are met.

They want the commission that goes to taxi hailing companies to be reduced from 25% to 15%.
They also want to be consulted before the hailing companies give offers and discounts.
