Uchumi Supermarket has reopened and is fully stocked in readiness for the festive season. The retailer which has been on its knees received a financial boosts from the government.
The fully stocked outlets have a array of offers for consumers during this festive season and will trickle down to the back to school season that comes just after the new year.

The services in the retailer have also been revamped. Uchumi supermarket has been facing financial woes leading to closure of most of their major outlets around the country.
Though covered in debt the supermarket has said that they intend to have paid all their debtors by end of March 2018.

This is not the first time that the supermarket almost shut down and Kenyans are hopeful that the supermarket will survive the economic crunch.
