Uganda Airlines Carrier Name Registered By Businessman, Sam Kuteesa

The Uganda government shared plans to restart the Uganda Airlines but that now seems to be a task because the name was patented by a business person, Sam Kuteesa.

The Uganda Registration Bureau was unable  to explain how the government was not able to secure the name and a different person who is not in the government was able to register the name.

The registration happened after the government liquidated the Uganda Airlines in May 2001.

The Ugandan government bought Airbus A330-800 New Engine Option (Neo) series recently which was meant to become the first airline’s airplane.

Tanzania also recently started their Tanzania Airlines recently opening the country directly to other East African states.
